I live in Seattle, and this is not uncommon to see around town, and unfortunately builders and developers will get their way, especially when the home owners passes on like in this case.

What they won't say in the story is because of the economy, Seattle developers are facing a plateau in their projects because of the decline in the economy.

If we aren't in a recession, then what are we in when gas is about $4.50/gallon.

Hurray for people like Edith. It is too bad that there are not many more like her. 99% of the development over the last 10 years is dreadful and has ruined many a great commnunity.
