Wow. This haunting film is firmly stuck in my head. Not only is Ryan Gosling's acting enchanting, the way the story was written, shot, edited and woven is truly impressive. It's a little movie, packed full of story, brimming with the silent possibility of exploding. The only aspect of my movie-watching experience that fell terribly short was the director's commentary which I was especially looking forward to since there's so much in this film to think about and talk about. It was disappointing and almost laughable how much the directors didn't talk about the story and instead focused on the peripheral logistics such as music. Other than that, a truly remarkable and memorable movie I recommend!
