Guys,
What is the best clothing dye out there? I want to dye a thin, wool sweater and a cuoderoy jacket (I'm thinking I'll dip a paintbrush in the dye solution and paint it - is that weird?). Thank you!
Don't disappoint me,
Andrea

I almost dyed a wool sweater, and thought (before tossing it) that it would shrink in the hot water. Apparently if you are really gentle with the fibers it's ok.
I don't think you could paint the dye on evenly easily, but for a time you would look twice at women wearing 'tye dye' remedies. I've only used Rit, simple, and they aren't kidding when they suggest 30 minutes submerged and hot. No joking about any of that.
Any drips will stain the work area if it isn't impervious.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried these myself. I haven't dyed anything since tiedying with friends in highschool.
