59 sounds like heaven.

You can put layers on to keep warm when it's cold, but you can only get so naked when it’s hot.

I’ve only been outside for 20mins this morning and It was torture. (I’m a winter person... only happy when its 40 degrees)

Burn, baby, burn... In New England, ISO-NE has implemented OP 1, 2, 3, 4, and 9... Next steps are rolling brownouts (voltage reductions from 120 volts or V nominal to 115-ish) followed by blackouts (0 V nominal - otherwise known as candle power)... But I think NE is okay for today; tomorrow is another ball of wax, though.

And in New York, the NYISO has implemented EDRP & SCR from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. today (Tuesday, August 1, 2006) in Zones J and K - NYC and Long Island. For reference, that's not good. Turn up those thermostats, not down! Tomorrow may prove to be far more difficult...
