Jay-Z: The Blueprint

As my brother has said for years, I like music that was hot a few years ago. The way I look at it and congratulate myself is that I bother only with music that's stood the test of time - way to go Dre!

Here it is. The fantastic album that came out five years ago that I have just this weekend fallen in love with. If anyone has been in a coma for several years or has exceptionally discriminating taste like yours truly, check it out now!

Huh! Here I was thinking that I was the only one who did that. Hubby has been into this album (do people still call it that?) since it came out. I had a problem with ayone who called himself 'HOVA'... I mean... really I think that's a bit snooty. But I've just started getting into his Jay-Z collection and I'm a HUGE convert. Luv it.

Weird, that album was released on September 11th, 2001.

Still, 5 years old is nothing, I've been stuck in a serious 80's kick lately. Oh look, a Weimaraner...

Hov is the smartest man alive, you should check out alot of his remixes, and not the major production crap but the small stuff...friend of mine works for a small record company in soho and he gets amazing integrated remixes that you could never imagine, like CCR and HOV or aretha and HOV.

BuzzFeed
Roland S. Martin is about to have even more time to tweet. That's because CNN announced this afternoon that Martin, a contributor to the network, has been suspended indefinitely following a pair of homophobic tweets he wrote during last Sunday's Super Bowl (which, as BuzzFeed pointed out, were representative of a larger anti-gay pattern of his).
Deadspin has more regarding the authenticity of these photos that began circulating on this 4Chan board Tuesday afternoon. The whole thing is still kind of unsettling.
I would imagine he wiped the floor with the kids from "Modern Family," but who knows. He definitely has the biggest gun... Plus, Gary Busey has some thoughts on butterflies, Matthew Lillard is a big deal (in his own head), and ladies, Ice T wants you to try his "Dick Test."
