Bunion surgery attempted by dog

Hhhmmmm, how am I going to do this??

BrooklynBunionSurgery2.jpg

I'm going to have to give it my all, that's for sure!

BrooklynBunionSurgery9.jpg

Shake things up a bit, tear some ligaments, reset some bones

BrooklynBunionSurgery1.jpg

Chew on the toes furthest away from the problem area

BrooklynBunionSurgery3.jpg

Gnaw a little closer to the source

BrooklynBunionSurgery4.jpg

Try a deadly gas attack

BrooklynBunionSurgery5.jpg

Damn, this was harder than I thought, I'll just cover it up

A for effort, Angus!

Comments

The important take-a-ways (in order of priority) from Angus are:

1. Use of dogs as licensed healthcare professionals may hold the key to reducing current, spiraling healthcare costs in the U.S.;

2. Research (further) the use of dog-generated "gas" for a limited number of foot-related ailments; and

3. Recommend the slogan of "Four legs good, two legs bad!" for all podiatrist-related activities amongst humans.

Hi there Andrea,

I was extremely bored at work when I came upon your blog. Thank you. I think I've spent a good two hours now reading and looking at your great photographs. And it's cool because: I'm getting married in a few months and we're honeymooning in Italy, I am alergic to mosquitoes, I love to eat, I have a blog (not nearly as interesting as yours, though) and other things I can't remember. My point is - thanks for curbing my boredom for a while. Also, you have really great clothes.

The end.
Amy

Hi Andrea,
I've emailed you before from the west coast of Canada, explaining that I'm a 54 year old nurse/mother who found your site a few years ago while googling french bulldogs with my daughter. I've visited ever since, and enjoyed you New York kids (you Jonah and Chelsea) a lot. Congratulations on the big anniversary by the way!

I'm commenting right now to ask if Jonah is aware of what Tom Green is doing at tomgreen.com
He has started a tv station in his living room where he does live shows where people from all over the world can call in and talk with him and the guests live. He's had some pretty cool guests on, just hanging out in his house (Brooke Shields, Tommy Chong, SCTV guys, various comedians, and Pee Wee Herman is expected in the near future for example). He has also started a deputy blog idea where anyone can become a deputy, thereby having space on the site to post their own creative ideas. One of the deputies, Zack Wolk, was hired as the booker for the show based on his deputy work. The potential related to what Tom is doing (trying to get away from the constraints of normal tv) is quite amazing, and he is trying to get the maximum number of people aware of what he's up to. Jonah being the viral media master, and Tom Green looking for viral ideas to help with his innovative approach could possibly mean something, possibly not. I'm just wanting to make you two aware to check out the site if you're not already aware of it.

Nothing ventured nothing gained. If you hate Tom Green don't bother of course. Although I see him realistically, with some human failings, I think what he is doing has interesting potential. I have always admired the way he has used the internet to connect with his fans, from the '90's when he had a radio show and would get groups of young kids out to various places in Ottawa by communicating in a daily internet diary (pre the word blog) re: what events he was planning etc. Suddenly all these kids who followed his diary would be gathered on a street corner, ready to do whatever crazy stuff tom had in mind, and the adults had no idea what the hell was going on. He also wrote about his relationships etc., alienating girlfriends as one might expect a Tom Greenish kind of guy to do. His was probably the first blog I read, even though it wasn't called a blog yet.

Check it out if you wish. Tom has requested help in his blog section so I thought of you and Jonah.

Hi Andrea,
I was doing a search on bunions and came across your website. Have you had the surgery or do you plan on doing the surgery? I am curious because I have bunions too!

Thanks,
Patty
