Blue Contaminated Hawaii

To all the haters out there, you'll be happy to know that I'm sitting on Waikiki Beach staring at the beautifully blue ocean and unable to enter it because of the contamination left over from the sewage spill a week and a half ago.

We got to the beach this morning with all intentions of swimming in the ocean because at least Waikiki Beach had opened again after being closed for a week. We quickly noticed that there were very few people in the water and then a lifeguard warned us against it, telling us about her lifeguard friends who got infections where their board shorts rubbed against their waists...just from being in the beautifully blue water.

I have gone to Maui a bunch and one of my favorite things to do there is go on waterfall hikes. You should see if there are any where you are. It's a great way to get in the water outside of the ocean. Just a thought.

Seriously - have you ever had a job? Who bankrolls all of your exotic travels?

I heard that swimming in so called "contaminated" water created by natural oils that come from earth actually gives your skin long lasting youth.

One must question the type of person that would put these in their yard. Perhaps as a warning to door-to-door solicitors?
Admit it: you hate this stupid holiday too, and anyone who says they don't is just fueling an overrated Hallmark holiday. So buy some of these on Etsy and let everyone know what's really on your mind this year.
Denver 9News's Kyle Dyer was doing a story Wednesday morning on an 85-pound Argentine mastiff that was rescued from an icy pond. That's when she learned why you shouldn't put your face right up to a strange (and probably stressed) dog's mouth.
