Labor Day Weekend Souvenirs!

Someone's allergic to mosquito bites and the posting of this photo clearly shows how vain she is not!

Oh, we can all assume there's a vampire loose on Nantucket OR if there are any doctors out there, what the hell do you think I was bitten by?!?! It felt like it was 1.5 inches long, half an inch wide with a hard shell...and it took a little pulling to get it off of me...eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww!!!

If it had a hard shell, it was probably a tick.. skeeters do not have hard shells. Ticks are hard to pull off when they bite..

Please go to a doctor ASAP as many diseases are spread by ticks. Not to scare you, but here's one (and it's even NAMED after Nantucket..)

OMG! That's the same reaction I get when I get bitten by mosquitos..How terrible. I hope it heals right away. Mine gets swollen like yours, then it gets very itchy, and I end up damaging my skin...
I HATE MOSQUITOS! What purpose do those species serve in this world...Hmm... =/

Ouch! That is some immuno response. I wouldn't worry unless it doesn't start improving within 24 hours. I am a mosquito magnet myself, so I feel your pain...

I would also slather those bites in some antibiotic, neosporin or something.

Jesu, Andrea, that looks horrid! (Yeah, you're welcome.) Looks like some little alien is about ready to bust on out of that.. Hope it's all better now.
