Posted by: mike d at September 8, 2005 4:09 PMSometimes mosquito poison can really affect people in all kinds of ways. I am sure you'll feel better once the swelling goes down:)
Posted by: amyinchina at September 8, 2005 11:12 PMYou might want to try St. John's Wort.. you can get it at GNC and not only does it work for depression, it acts as a great balm for insect bites. Used it myself on more than one occasion..
As most of us get tired of reading DailyKos and biatching about Katrina, we'll keep you in our wamesr thoughts..
Just think of all of us faceless InterWeb hooligans taking time out to pause, reflect and toss positive waves in your direction..

Posted by: blabbity at September 9, 2005 10:17 AMyou need to get a topical antihistamine...like benadryl lotion or even cortisone cream. this is your immunes systems histamine reaction (the stuff that gives you allergies). as long as your throat doesn't itch and your tongue doesn't feel swollen you should be fine in 72 hours. oral benadryl would really help too but you'll feel sleepy.

p.s. if these bumps get hot or start to have red streaks coming from them or you develop a fever get medical treatment right away
