I just got an email from someone I was friends with while at Taipei American School during my 7th & 8th grades. The great thing about this email is that it reminded me of something I had forgotten...

I stumbled onto your blog by accident while researching Chinese Cresteds, and when I saw your picture I immediately wondered what this webpage was all about. You see, I recognized that you are the same mutt mix as I am so I HAD to see who you were and what you are doing as a social comparison. But much to my dismay, you appear to have exceeded me in every positive category: wit, beauty, success, personality, sense of humor, experience, talent...and probably many other categories. I know that we are not all created equal, but isn't there anything about you that isn't perfect?? Were you always like this? This is not a joke. Compared to you I feel like a complete dunce, my self-esteem has sunk to an all time low. I'm in my fourth year in college, and I have no idea where my life is going...can you please give me some advice?
