Hmmm... Let's take a look at the source file of this anal inspiration, shall we?

Obviously, Mr. Ajai Raj, the source of the bottoms-up comment at Ann Coulter's recent University of Texas appearance, is a talented individual. And thankfully, he ardently defends the left and not the right - at least on the issue of anal sex and marriage anyway. His poetic defense of his thought process may be found here (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/5/5/11120/19514) - colorful metaphors aside.

But honestly, Mr. Raj's asking of Ms. Coulter in a public (and formal) forum, "How do you feel about marriages where the man does nothing but fuck his wife up the ass?", followed by a jerking (read jacking) off motion as he leaves the same forum, is designed only to prompt an emotional response. The question and gesture have nothing to do with the politics of either Mr. Raj or Ms. Coulter. Yet, many found them amusing and some inspiring... politically even.

And... "Did [he] give a shit? No." While he admits he was a jackass (bravo), Mr. Raj bemoans the fact that he was arrested and charged with a Class C Misdemeanor. Poor thing, but alas, "It is a painful thing to look at your own trouble and know that you yourself and no one else has made it." - Sophocles, as has been posted previously.

And as a reminder to the Aspiring Activist Ajai, "The simplicity of a 'conservative' [thought] is that the issues raised typically point out areas where a majority of people can readily conclude that common sense is either lacking or absent." While anal sex (without any doubt) occurs and is pleasurable (to some but remember not all - perhaps even the majority), common sense says its not generally-accepted (for obvious reasons) and not often spoke of at a public (and formal) speaking engagement. Therefore, Mr. Raj's real message (I disagree with all things Ann) was largely lost in the subsequent uproar.

Think with your mind, act with your heart, and speak with both!
