Yes, yes... the purple shoes (with complementary tassels no less) and the white, ruffled blouse are all well and fine... and certain to be appreciated by Prince... or the artist formally known as Prince (i.e., the neutered O(+>)... well, between 1993 and 2000 (anyways) after which... he became Prince.. again - (|mr|Darcy just tosses his hands up in the air on that whole Katie Kazoo Switcheroo act by Prince).
But... where's the raspberry beret? You know, the kind you find in a second-hand store?
|mr|Darcy nods in understanding, though. Everyone needs a... distraction (?) Some are a bit more benign than others... Thankfully (for Jonah's sake, at least), your distraction, Andrea, appears harmless... but only a trained therapist would know for certain on that point. Just teasing - the two of you!
The album (and movie) "Purple Rain" was released when I was attending my enlisted Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas (1984-ish). As a result and unfortunately, when I think of Prince, it's usually with much sweat involved - in the mental image, that is. I think this sweat has impacted (adversely) Prince's stature in my music repertoire - through no fault of his own, of course!
