Poised with my camera and my patient, winning attitude, I waited for nearly 5 hours to capture this tongue shot and let me tell you folks, in this situation as in life, you can get what you want as long as you're willing to sacrifice a balanced and productive life.

My BF from high school Toby had a Russian Blue named Elvis. She brought Elvis w/ her on a visit to her parents' place, and her mother catnapped him and wouldn't let Toby take him when she returned home. It's still a bitter subject, and Toby doesn't bring her new cat w/ her when she visits from Florida.
I, however, favor Abyssinians (and tuxedo cats named Dirk).
