The Golden Breed

How is it possible that this entire dog breed is so golden, nice and friendly looking!? It's as if they were bred for the catalogs of JCrew, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc...They're not as expressive as the little dogs I have a special spot in my heart for but they certainly are nice and painfully adorable as puppies.

I love those dogs. What do you mean, "not expressive"?? Look at that happy little face! Look at those intelligent eyes! Look at his furry little eyebrows that question everything!

they are cutesy poo puppies, but andrea's kinda on target--they do grow into spazzy likeable grown ups with sort of vacant eyes. unlike the sparkster, and my own favorite papagena. no offense to goldens--they are gorgeous--but a little beefy sometimes, don't you think. oh, heck, they're dogs, yay dogs. yay.
