French Manners

While I suffer from wireless web withdrawal which has rendered me unable to post photos I've taken here, here's one I took the last time I was in Paris when...

I watched this French dog climb out of the car with his owner (who clearly has a thing for parking his car perfectly), plop down in front of the coiffure's door until his owner emerged with a très chic hair-do, and they got back in the car and were on their merry way...

His parking is not quite perfect. The front wheels are maddeningly unaligned. We obsessive compulsives have exacting standards. ;-)

Also, he failed to place the back and front ends of his car equidistant from their respective borders.

I am picturing himself inside the shop, supervising his haircut. The sides are uneven. So he has one side trimmed to match the other, and then the other side is longer. So he cuts that side, and the first side is longer. And so on. He emerges from the salon with an asymmetrical cut a la the '80s. Oooh la la? I don't think so.

Great chien, by the way.

Excuse me while I beat myself about the head and face for writing "himself", above. I am MORTIFIED. But this is what you get for not proofreading.

Oh well. I'm going to go outside now and crookedly park a car in penance!!!

This is the greatest thing that has happened in the history of great things happening. Thank you Matheus Candido for making these.
Michael, a 24-year-old who works in finance and likes to collect data, apparently had a strange dating habit: asking women he went out with to fill out a worksheet about how he fared. Naturally, one such woman sent that worksheet on to Deadspin! Here it is for your enjoyment/embarrassment for all involved.
