Maybe that thong has been ripped in half (which is a scary thought in itself).... but it looks HUGE!

Here's the story I made up in my mind when I looked at it: woman walking down the street, squeezed into a thong too small (because it was on sale! and cute!), and then wammo! A blowout! THONG EXPLOSION!! The thong drops to the ground (she's wearing a skirt.) And she calmly picks it up, sticks it on the street post to mark the occassion (sort of a thong memorial), and goes on her way.
