Best Boyfriend Buys Band-Aids

Summer has finally arrived so I did what any silly girl would do...put on her high heel sandals!

After a day of walking I was blistered and seriously in pain...and not just on the outside, my friends!

Next thing I knew, my sweet, lovely, wonderful boyfriend asked me to jump on his back and then he carried me down 6 flights of stairs and 2 blocks to the nearest deli!!

While he caroused in the deli, I took a look at the sad condition of my feet:

And then my knight in shining armour emerged equipped with Band-Aids!

I'm all patched up and good to go! I won't go down that easily, NYC!!!

Pssst! Andrea!!! Close your italics "tag"!

I did the blister thing a few weeks ago and was forced to buy shoes that would hide them and also provide SUCCOR while doing so. So I bought a pair of snappy Skechers, which are sexxxy in their own way. At least that's the lie I'm telling myself now.

BTW, Sketchers are sexy all the way....

Yes, they ARE campers, hanners! and boy do we have good taste!

Yes, he applied the band-aid to my blister :-)

Not sure though if you or I should try the sandals again...although no pain no gain seems to apply more and more to shoe fashion these days....

In Macy's, there is a sign by the elevator directing women to the shoe departments on different floors. They say something like this: "2 - Shoes for Comfort" and "4 - Shoes for Style". (I'm not sure those are the correct floors, so don't be mad if you go and get LOST!)

This just PROVES that comfort and style are mutually exclusive and that comfort and style do not go hand in hand or foot in shoe.

andrea, without experiencing exquisite excruciating hell
one can not truly appreciate the wonder that is the appearance of a damn fine pair of feet holders!

with that said, make a note to self: these shoes are best when the only running and or walking you do is, you know, from the cab to the club, or the cb to the dinner table , or from J's back to, umm, the front...

peace sista

This is actually case of traditional Japanese foot binding gone bad.
Related Thought:
It's usually the" little piggy that went to the market" that gets the brunt of the blisters. Although in some cases it has been the "wee wee wee all the way home" one.

Hey Look- Got Your Nose!

Ok, enough silliness- here's a sure fire old fashion home cure for foot blisters:
Take a raw potato and soak it in vinegar overnight. Slice the potato in half and wrap both in aluminum foil. Place them in the freezer. Then have your boyfriend carry you everywhere. When you return in a few hours take the frozen potatoes and throw them away.
Repeat this for one week and I swear that your blister will go away. (Although oddly your boyfriend may develop them.)

I dare you to find something better.
I love capybaras. They're like big guinea pigs. But I have noticed that oftentimes, they look so uninterested in everything going on around them.
