Jonah Air Guitars to The Gypsy Kings

It's a crying shame the World Air Guitar championships just came and went without the attendance of our very own Air Guitar Extraordinaire...Jonah!

He's jammin':

He's feelin' it:

He asks...do YOU feel it?

Who among us can resist the rumba rhythm? Six more air accompanists, and the championship is yours for the taking.

for those of us that weren't there to witness this obviously stunning performance, what exactly was jonah playing?

I can't be sure, but knowing Jonah's tricks, it looks like he is playing the classic song "Ami Wa Wa" from The Gipsy Kings' 1997 album, Compas. According to their website:

"This tribal song with Gipsy background vocals is aimed at the women who share their life. It fans the flames of their desire and the possessiveness they feel over their men."

Jonah learned that technique on a transcontinental flight, as I recall when his neighbor vigorously practiced it for 3,000 miles. He loved the experience so much that he appears to be on a a mission to share it with others.

I was just looking for a picture of The Gypsy Kings on google to print out and then Jonah appeared which made my day and of course laugh. This is great!! Anyhow, keep up the air guitar, I'm feelin' it. -v

Though anecdotal, his experience is interesting.

Sans Matt Damon. Still, Jeremy Renner's mug is reason enough to check out the fourth installment in Universal's spy thriller.
