This weekend while seeking Shelter From The Storm (love that Dylan song), I spotted an old lady whose wise ways I had to photograph.
Her delight at being photographed released the ham in her and she did a little can can dance before posing for this shot!
How old is OLD?

She needs those old lady rubbers that you zip over your shoes to keep them dry. That's what my Aunt Jenny (my great-grandmother's sister) used to use. I remember one time after Thanksgiving dinner (circa 1994) she was putting them on over her old granny black lace-up shoes and the zipper was sticking on one of them.
I obverved, "Perhaps it's time for a new pair?"
"Nonsense!" she replied, "I've had these since the war and they're still perfectly good."
"Vietnam?" I ventured, cautiously.
"World War II," she replied, and she gave me such a look.
