Hello my name is...

Was walking around in the East Village and came upon this:

Detailed look:

There's a great New Yorker cartoon with two women at a cocktail party. One woman says to the other, "I can't imagine bringing a child into the current art world."

I love that quote.

In the midst of this current art world, I think this "hello my name is..." art, is pretty cool.

I love this "go with the flow" concept. I will use it as a metaphor in my teacher education program. http://gse.berkeley.edu/program/DTE/dte.gse.html
DO NOT fight with reality, find ways to incorporate it. It's good for the wall, it's good for the classroom. This makes me want to blog but I don't know how. I hope my son and his girlfriend come soon to help me set up my own blog so I can put these photos on it.

BuzzFeed
A Fox News Channel program last week thrust Andy Martin, widely credited with starting a cyber-whisper campaign about Barack Obama, into the foreground.
I think the high likelihood that this is fake is outweighed by the extreme lack of surprise anyone would feel if it were true. In other words: it might as well be true. Ditto for the SAT.
Another questionable image claims to reveal the vice presidential candidate's standardized IQ score.
