Last night, I spotted my very first SEGWAY!!! Whooeeeee!!
I couldn't help but stare, wishing I could try it but the guy was a CHATTY CATHY so never got a chance to ask.
I also wanted to ask, "If this huge 80 lb machine is SO awesome, WHY OH WHY, are you riding the subway, my friend???"
And people wonder why we are the fattest nation in the world. Not only do we eat shit, we can't even walk through a fucking subway turnstyle when we just got off a train that took our fat asses 4 blocks because we are too lazy to take a 10 minute walk. But it is a cool looking toy.

Kinda of fucked up when you consider that the given resaon is safety while it's far more dangerous to rise a bike around. Anyway, we started a long discussion about alternate means of transportation and for some reason I remembered "Ginger". How funny it would be if the Peace Corps issued us Segways when moved to our sites. As if we don't already stick out enough. I can just imagine how incredibly out of place we'd look tooling around town on our little "sccoters". Well, it was funny at the time.
